How do I download and activate The Commons app?

📲 Step-by-Step: Download the App

For iPhone (Apple App Store):

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.

2. Search for "The Commons: Students", or use this link:
   Download on the App Store

3. Tap Get to install the app.

For Android (Google Play Store):

1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.

2. Search for "The Commons: Students", or use this link:
   Download on Google Play Store

3. Tap Install to begin the download.

✅ How to Activate the App

1. Open the app after downloading.

2. Use your school issued email to log in.

   1. Otherwise Scan the QR code provided by your school — this connects the app to your school’s setup - if you were not provided a unique QR code - don't worry about this.

3. Accept the required permissions.

4. That’s it!

🔒 Important Notes

• School Mode activates based on your school’s schedule and campus zone and deactivates when you leave campus or the school day ends.

• The required permissions are used to operate School Mode. The Commons does not use them to access personal content such as messages, photos, contacts, or browsing history, and does not receive GPS coordinates or movement history. Limited information is processed by service providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

• Disabling these permissions may prevent the App from working as intended. School administrators may be alerted if a required permission is missing.
