The Commons is designed to use a limited amount of mobile data for the operational information needed to run the service. Actual data usage can vary by device, operating system and how the service is configured by the school.
Because School Mode limits access to high-bandwidth distracting apps during the school day, students may also use less mobile data on those apps while School Mode is active.
