Right now, the biggest distraction reported by schools is cellphone use, which is why The Commons is currently focused on managing student phones.
That said, our technology is designed to grow with school needs. If smartwatches (like Apple Watches) or tablets begin causing classroom disruptions, The Commons can evolve to support those devices too. We’re always listening to our school partners and building toward a healthier, more focused learning environment.
