Once a student downloads and activates The Commons app by scanning their school-provided QR code, the app automatically connects to their school environment.
When the student arrives on campus, The Commons activates and limits access to distracting apps like social media and games. Essential tools—such as phone calls, texts, approved academic, and medical tools—remain available throughout the school day.
At dismissal or when the student leaves campus, The Commons automatically deactivates, and the phone returns to normal.
💡 Approved apps for academic or medical use can still be accessed during the school day if arranged with school staff in advance.
