After scanning your QR Code, The Commons will take you to a permissions page. Toggle Location to "On" and follow the prompts to allow this permission on your phone.

If the prompt doesn’t appear or doesn’t work, here’s how to manually enable it:

✅ Step-by-Step: Enable Location Permissions on iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

  2. Scroll down and tap The Commons (you’ll find it near the bottom under installed apps).

  3. Tap Location.

  4. Select Always (not “While Using the App”).

  5. Make sure Precise Location is turned ON.

🛠 Don’t see "Always" as an option?

  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.

  2. Ensure Location Services is turned ON.

  3. Scroll down and select The Commons.

  4. Set the permission to Always.

🔁 Still not working?

  • Fully close and reopen the app.

  • Make sure you’re using the latest version of the app from the App Store.

  • Try restarting the phone.
